There are some things that are so big that they have implications for everyone, whether we want or not. Big Data is one of those things, and is having a really big impact in our business. That's why we need to know it very well and understand how to use, control, manage at the best.

Big Data is fuelled by two things:
1. The increasing "datafication" of the world (big generation of data, communications, feedbacks, videos, forms, blogs, chats, reports, etc.)
2. Our increasing ability to manage and analyse complex sets of data (thanks to technology)
Activity data, Conversation data, Listening data, videos, photos, the internet things of data, web pages, blogs, forms and so on.
